The term Graphic Design has many aspects from advertising to typography and is often referred to as Visual Arts or Information Design. To be a graphic designer means being able to combine words, symbols and images in such a way that it conveys a visual representation of ideas and messages. As quoted by Saul Bass, “Design is thinking made visual.”

A qualified Graphic Designer is trained in advertising, corporate identity design, including logos and branding, publication layout for magazines, newspapers and books, product packaging and more.       1. Hi I want to study graphic design but I can’t draw and I also did my matric years ago like 14 years ago when maths was not compulsory and I’m just wondering what portfolio are they looking for because if you have never done graphic design before and don’t know and want to learn about it
